Meet The Members
Ryan Olivier
Sabrina Clarke
Sabrina Clarke is a third-year PhD student in composition at Temple University. She has been involved with conTemplum for the past four years, holding various positions ranging from treasurer to current president. Sabrina's compositional interests are wide-ranging, including chamber, orchestral, choral, and keyboard music. Her work has been premiered internationally at various venues including the Nordic Historical Keyboard Festival in Kuopio, Finland, the Schola Cantorum in Paris, France, and the Jan Hus Presbyterian Church in NYC. Sabrina is an alumna of Temple University (MM), McDaniel College (BA), the Hood College Music Preparatory, and the European American Musical Alliance summer composition program.
Skyler Hagner
Skyler Hagner is a jazz saxophone performance major slated to graduate from Temple University in 2016. Originally from Guilford, Connecticut, the reed player/composer now calls the vibrant Philadelphia art scene home. With a writer and woodworker for parents, Skyler draws inspiration from many different art forms. These include but are not limited to: dance, food, painting, photography, sculpture and writing. The combination of these disciplines help to inform his music, and create a unique sonic landscape.

Ryan Olivier's (b. 1985) various interests have led him to work with a wide array of media, including concert ensembles, electronics, video, and dance. His works have been featured at festivals across the US and internationally. While he enjoys composing for both traditional concert ensembles and fixed media, he is currently working to incorporate real time interaction between live performers and visualized electronic music to create interactive multimedia works.
Tony Manfredonia
Tony Manfredonia has worked as a composer for the independent video game company Ackk Studios and has received critical acclaim for the soundtrack of the studio's first video game release, Two Brothers. Since then, he has composed soundtracks for other various developers, such as Phalanx Studios LLC. In September of 2014, he premiered his first musical comedy, Oedipus: The Musical, as part of Philadelphia's Fringe Festival. In March, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will be reading through his piece, Through the Tunnels and Back, as part of the 11th Annual Reading Session, lead by composer-in-residence, Mason Bates."

Carlos Johns-Dávila
Carlos Johns-Dávila is a sophomore music composition student at Temple University. He hopes create a wide spread appreciation of Peruvian culture and dance through his music for his North American audience members. He has studied composition with Dr. Cynthia Van Maanen, Dr. Alexander deVaron, Dr. Robert Deemer, and currently with Dr. Matthew Greenbaum.
Joseph Gregorio
Composer Joseph Gregorio has been commissioned by numerous ensembles, including Cantus, The Esoterics, and the Penn State Glee Club, and was recently named a joint recipient of a grant from the Ann Stookey New Music Fund. His music has garnered prizes in several competitions and is performed by ensembles throughout the world. Also active as a conductor, Gregorio is the founding director of Ensemble Companio, a chamber choir whose members come from throughout the northeast United States. Gregorio received a B.A. magna cum laude in music from Cornell University, where he studied composition with Steven Stucky; a M.M. in choral conducting from Yale University, where he studied with Marguerite Brooks and Simon Carrington, and a M.M. in composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied with David Conte.
